In 1968, Mr. Thomas A. Warner, EA began preparing income tax returns at his kitchen table in Moore County, Tennessee. As his business grew, he relocated the business to its current location in Tullahoma, Tennessee. His daughter, Mary Warner Beard, having attained her CPA license, returned to Tullahoma in 1987 and joined his business. For many years, Mr. Warner and Mary worked alongside each other providing income tax and bookkeeping services to the community. Upon his passing in 2012, Mary assumed the family business, and we became Mary Warner Beard, CPA.

Mary is the owner of the firm and has over 30 years experience in public accounting. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She is the Vice President of the Elk Valley Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Professionals, National Society for Tax Professionals, and National Society of Accountants. Mary specializes in tax and accounting services.
Mary has three daughters and six grandchildren. In her spare time, Mary enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her family.
Suzanne Hall, Office Manager
Suzanne is the office manager of the firm and has over 30 years experience in payroll and bookkeeping. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She is a member of the National Society for Tax Professionals. She has been with the firm since 1984, and provides a variety of services including payroll, sales tax, business tax, as well as bookkeeping services.
Suzanne is married to Wade, and has one daughter. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and spending time with family.
Elizabeth M Smith, CPA
Elizabeth is the tax manager of the firm and has over 15 years experience in tax and accounting. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Athens State University and a master’s degree in taxation from Florida Atlantic University. She is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Professionals, and the National Society of Tax Professionals. Elizabeth is the recipient of two prestigious awards for her performance on the CPA exam: The AICPA’s Elijah Watt Sells Award and the TSCPA’s John Glenn Award. Elizabeth specializes in tax and accounting services.
Elizabeth is married to David, and they have five children. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, coaching baseball with her husband, and spending time with her family.
Rachel M Beard, EA
Rachel is the staff accountant of the firm. She has over 10 years experience in tax and accounting. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Athens State University. Rachel is also an Enrolled Agent, a designation she received in 2018. She is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals, National Association of Enrolled Agents, and National Association of Tax Professionals. Rachel specializes in tax services and provides bookkeeping services.

Sharon Marlow
Sharon has been with the firm for over 30 years. Her education background includes an associate degree in business administration from Motlow State Community College. Sharon assists with a variety of monthly payroll and bookkeeping services.
Sharon is married to Jim and has three sons and four grandchildren. In her free time, Sharon enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Ashlyn Vanzant
Ashlyn is the office assistant of the firm. Her educational background includes the pursuit of an associate degree in accounting from Motlow State Community College. Ashlyn assits the office by providing her support towards any daily tasks needed.
In her downtime, Ashlyn loves to bake, hike, and spend time with her family.
